Have anyone finished mounting a GM 200R4 auto trans on to a SL6 block yet? Just curious, the silence around the project is almost deafening... BTW, it's my 10th anniversary today! Olaf |

There is a detailed installation covered by "akbmotorsports" from about 1 yr ago. Very nice work. I just ordered my trans and converter and hope to start installation in a couple of weeks. Lou |

Thank you neilskiw, but I actually meant that I've been married to the forum for 10 years!  Lou, I know that, but I have not seen any progress reports from all the members that bought an adapter a couple of years ago. Olaf |

Lou Just curious, but did you consider a"de-lockup" job on your A-500, then using a std. 904 TC? Not certain how much the mpg'd suffer, but given the OD, may be relatively negligible. I realize you've already pulled the trigger on the 200R4, but wondered if that was already considered and rejected, and why. Thx. |

The A500 is rare, hard to get performance parts for, very heavy, and not high on the torque rating. This is a truck transmission. These are the reasons I am switching to the 200-4R. I have just started the 200-4R install and will post pics soon. Best, Lou |
