| Post subject: | Shifter for A833 Overdrive |
I have an 833 overdrive trans that came with a Hurst shifter and rods.The rods are obviously much too short so I assume they were deigned for a midship shifter mounting.My trans has the shifter mounting location at the rear of the output shaft housing. Can anyone shed some light on the correct shifter and or rods that I should look for ? |

Have you looked at the 4 speed article? http://www.slantsix.org/articles/4-spee ... speed1.htm It may shed light on the mystery, it sounds like may be you have one version of the transmission and a set of shift rods for the other... |
