I am working on my Valiant...specifically cleaning the gas tank and related parts. Does anyone have any schematics/pics of the fuel system for this car. I am particularly interested in what I believe to be the fuel filler neck "vent tube". It is a metal line ...maybe 1/4 to 3/8 "'s in diameter....where does it go? and I may substitute fuel injection hose in place of the metal line?...any thoughts and advice. I am working on cleaning these parts and don't have the car nearby to study how everything goes back together.....the reason for my first request. Thank you in advance! |

Thanks for the reply....I have been able to get to the car and see how everything goes back together....interesting to find out that the small diameter vent actually appears to terminate under the trunk floor below the filler tube boot.
