Well Lou, that convinced me to keep my mechanical guage and idiot light!
With the recent events with Dennis's engine, glad thats all it was!

Hey folks, Well, after my trip to Bristol, and 220 mile trip home with only 25 psi reading on my oil pressure gauge, I finally reinstalled my old pressure gauge and fired it up. No problems at all - 60 psi (cold) right off the bat. Just as I thought, the electrical gauge (probably sender, Autometer ProComp) crapped out, but the motor's fine. This gauge worked for about 6-8 hours of engine run time and then dumped. Whew... Lou |
