i just got a float from the ford dealiership and i was wongering how to put it in....any ideas...i have had the tank out before but i was wondering how to put the float on the sinding unit?

Very easy. You pop-out the float assembly by removing the hose, wire and spanner nut. The float itself simply clips into a loop at the end of the sender's swing arm.
