I've got myself a floor jack, replacement mounts... only one problem: with the engine being on the slant, where do you set the jack up to do this?

Under the pan. The trans mount should keep it from falling over. Or, you can unbolt one side at a time.

I just got through changing the mounts on my '66 Valiant...I just chained and lifted the engine. Worked great! The oil pan change-out was the tough part....

Put a piece of 2X4 between the pan and jack head. Otherwise the pan will end up like a friends 360 crate engine and have four circular dents.
