Semi new to /6's so bare with me.

I have a 1974 Dodge Dart Swinger with a 225" and Auto Trans.

I want to replace the carb. I finally figured out it has a H-1945
3830402
6938
1084

Far as I know the car has 60k miles BUT has the original carb which has obvious gas seepage on it.

Is there any options for a Better Carb/ or should I just stay with a rebuilt 1 of these?

Almost all Parts Houses carry some Brand of Rebuilt or Re-MFG version of the 1945, is there anything I need to look for or make sure I get or not when I order another.

Is rebuilding these carbs as simple as the Rebuild kits look? If I do rebuild myself is there anything to look out for.

If you go at it with a mindset of ensuring the hard parts of yours are still of good workable quality you can obtain good results. I just completed mine. It works very well.
