| Post subject: | Super six return spring bracket same as 1 bbl bracket? |
Does anyone know if the return spring bracket on a super six car is the same as a 1 bbl car? Found a guy who has some super six parts but doesnt have that bracket, hje said my 1 bbl bracket should work..... Also, were super six cars offered in "lean burn"? The air cleaner he is offering has big square hold in the side that I can only assume are for lean burn stuff...our car is not a lean burn, and not going that route. |

He's wrong, but it won't be hard to improvise a suitable bracket if you can't turn up a genuine one.Quote: Also, were super six cars offered in "lean burn"?
I am pretty sure the answer is yes, and so is this guy. Just fabricate a patch for the hole, run a bead of RTV silicone and then attach it with four or six short sheetmetal screws.
