Under the pan. The trans mount should keep it from falling over. Or, you can unbolt one side at a time.

I've got myself a floor jack, replacement mounts... only one problem: with the engine being on the slant, where do you set the jack up to do this? '68 Valiant-100 2dr post |

I just got through changing the mounts on my '66 Valiant...I just chained and lifted the engine. Worked great! The oil pan change-out was the tough part....

Put a piece of 2X4 between the pan and jack head. Otherwise the pan will end up like a friends 360 crate engine and have four circular dents.
