i have leaking from the oil pan gasket. i have hammered the pan itself flat and used blue goo. doesn't anyone make a one piece gasket??

Post subject:  Anaerobic goo....

Haven't seen a one piece gasket. A friend gave me a tube of GM Good Wrench 'gasket sealer'. I like it, my friend says he uses it on his oil pan since it stays gooey and doesn't setup like RTV. We used the standard gasket, then filled that stuff in the cracks and 'joints'. I haven't had a leak out of my pan for 13,000 miles so far. Who knows what your local GM dealer would sell the stuff for, there has to be another more 'commercial goo' like it...
