Car Model: 1968 Plymouth Barracuda slant 6 super six 4 speed.
Hey gang, I got a 65-68 truck/van small block 727 short tail shaft transmission, I want to swap the guts and tail shaft into the slant 6 727 case. Is this do able and what torque converter will be needed? This will be going into my power wagon turbo slant 6 project. Thank you!

Yes! Use the kickdown band to match the case and use the front pump to match the input shaft. Use the output shaft to match the tailshaft.

So being that the slant 6 727 I have is ONLY the case. My small block 727 guts will interchange?

Yes! Put all the 727 stuf into the slant six case. Just make sure you use the output shaft to match the tailshaft housing.
