Hey slant sex crew, my club cab power (boosted) wagon turbo slant 6 build just started, got a few questions. Using a 1987 Buick GN Garrett turbo planning on using 5-7 psi of boost max. I would like to know what kind of head gasket you guys and gals would recommend? Also, this buick turbo has the oil inlet and outlet. But, where and how do I cool the turbo? Coolant inlet and outlet are absent on this turbo.

Oil is used to both lubricate and cool on some turbos. Sounds like yours is that way. My Holset is the same.

Another reason to think about an oil cooler...

You should be fine with any head gasket at that boost level. I would torque/retorque bolts to 75+ ft-lbs. Make sure you have a max ign advance of about 22 deg under full boost, and A/F ratio of 11.5:1 or 12 max. Get a WB O2 sensor. AEM is the best, IMHO.
