Trying to remove the bell housing off of my 1970 slant six out of my d100 truck; I have all visible bolts removed, starter, tin pan, etc but it is stuck fast.
Read somewhere that perhaps some slant 6 trucks had an extra couple of bolts on the inside which I am suspecting I have.
if this is the case how the heck do I get at them? Do I have to remove the clutch and pressure plates to make room to get up inside the top of the bell housing?

If it's the 11" clutch low mount starter bell, then yes you have 3 bolts that can only be accessed after removing the pressure plate, disc, and flywheel....

Pulled the clutch and flywheel and I indeed have the 3 extra bolts inside.
Glad I didn't get too carried away with the dead blow!

Those 3 bolts are outside the bell on that A904 and high mount starter manual transmission bells...
