If you want to put a floor shift in a 62, I doubt the 61 pieces will work as the transmission in 60 and 61 was rolled over in relation to the floor where the shifter was mounted. Hurst used to make a shifter that could be mounted on a 62 after cutting an access hole in the floor. The 60-61 didn't require a hump, the Hurst could use the same type hump that you would use with a 64 up 4 speed installation.
