Hi all, yet another question... I have a pair of 14x6 ralley wheels, and a pair of 15X7 I am looking to put these on my 75 dart with stock suspension with stock rear. Obviously, the 15s for the rear.... Anyway, can anyone recommend tires for these that would not look sill, or cause gear or rubbing problems? BTW, a friend of mine recommened 215 70R 14 front and 235 60 R 15 back Thanks Alan |

Those are pretty tall tires, and the rears will be wide enough that they may rub the inner or outer fender if the offset of the wheel is not just right. Are these factory Chrysler BBP wheels? If so, I would run a 225/60-15 or maybe 215/60 on the back, and a 205/70-14 or maybe 215/60-14 in front. The 60 series in front are lower profile and so give better handling and slightly worse ride, in addition to lowering the car slightly. The 235s may fit fine in the back, but you will not be sure unless you do some measuring. Best to measure the backspacing on the rims if they are aftermarket rims.
