1984 Dodge D150 long wide truck. Everything is brand new on this custom truck. Frame on restoration from new paint, new interior with a California custom seat, optima battery, stereo, new air conditioner, new wheels. The slant 6 cylinder engine has been balanced and blue printed, bored out 40 over with a brand new edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor, msd ignition, and lots of new gauges (fuel pressure, oil pressure, temp) 2,000 miles since the restoration.

Looks good!

Three pointers.

The MSD will live longer in a cooler location.

The air cleaner shown cleaner will catch rocks, but not much else. The air filter is the most important filter to long engine life. A later model EFI Dodge van will have a good air cleaner for you which includes a cold air tube.

SWB and LWB are short wheelbase and long wheelbase. All the boxes are the same width excepting the Utiline Step-side box. Your truck is simply a long bed/long wheelbase truck. Nothing wide or narrow about it.

What is a Wide truck? Seems the same width as my truck?
