Please can it be confirmed whether this casting had the revised combustion chamber. I’ve read other posts saying that castings 2843819 and up are, but wondering if 2843169 is too. It’s a 1967 head and does not have the half dimes opposite the spark plug holes. |

My understanding is that casting #2843169 is the 67 and up revised combustion chamber head. I pulled one of those casting # off of a 73 slant six. I haven't heard what the '-1, -2, -3, etc.' means that is after the casting #. |

Yes, that's the revised chamber (lack of dimes + 2843xxx casting number). -1, -2, -3 indicates mould/tool number or shift/line number. |
