| Post subject: | removing valve cover 1985 slant |
I have a 1985 Dodge truck with the slant six. When i remove the valve cover to replace the gasket i see the fuel line looks in the way. Do i have to move it and if so can i take it off at the filter? Any other tips? thanks |

Yes, and yes. Have something handy to plug the hose to the carb in case you get some drain back.Have something handy to keep your cover bolts and washers in...have a magnetic probe handy in case you drop one. If the gasket is fossilized a scraper will help strip most of that off the head. |
