Take off a BBD and bolt on up to 350 hp. A BBD flows 255cfm Two 100lb injectors would drown a BBD compatible manifold at an idle. |

You could set the pulse width at 0.00001 sec for idle quality... Greg |

It says "supports up to 350 horse with 100 lb/hr injectors". That doesn't mean you have to get the big injectors, and I suspect Holley will want some intended use info before they send you the package. Looks neat, but $1000 neat? I ain't so sure. Wonder how it would work with a blow-through turbo or supercharger? Roger |

I watched a vid and read some of the fine print. It states it is for normally aspirated engines only (although it does have a 2 bar map). It is 100 bucks more than the 2300 version and the 2300 is nicer I think (universal air cleaner). They really did set this up as a jeep BBD replacement, not a generic BBD. If you look at the IAC motor on the throttle body it is just barely below where the air cleaner attatches, and sticks out quite a bit. The way jeep air cleaners bolt on it isn't in the way but I doubt a Super Six air cleaner would clear it. BBD carbs don't have anything in the way in that area. Pretty sure the 100 lb injectors are fine, I think they alter fuel pressure or something to get them to idle on smaller motors. I have seen mild V6's with the 4 barrel that run and idle just fine and those are good to 650hp. There are even air cooled VW's running the four barrels. CFM would be a bit higher than a BBD as there is no venturi. Brandon |

For that money I'd just switch to propane for a simpler installation. Looks nice though. |
