Well thanks to my son I've finally got a page to put my car pics on. http://number6.homelinux.net/gallery/album14
The best engine stuff is on the 4th page. When you click a thumbnail it will give you a larger photo. If you click that photo it will give you a really large one for seeing detail (better have a broadband connection). Anyway it's a sample of photos from when I picked the car up from the painter in February of 2000 up to this year. I'm getting new wheels soon and will update the gallery.

The car & engine look great. What is the color of the car called? What is the paint code?

Great looking car! Lots of attention paid to the little details.
Hey, is there any chance you can take a picture of the lower alternator bracket, to show how it attaches to the alternator/block?

The paint color is a Bright Blue Metallic that I believe is B14 but I'll have to check that when I get home. I wanted something a bit more intense than the standard medium blue metallic but not the same as B4 blue. The car was originally CC light blue (baby blue) but had been repainted in white before I bought it in 1991.
The alternator mount is actually an original 1960 Valiant mount that I got from Brian Bayer. It mounts on the two threaded hole pad at the bottom of the block just above the oil pan gasket line. Bet you always wondered what that was for? I've got some better pictures of it and will post them tonight. I like it because it fills up the "hole" in the engine compartment when you don't have a P.S. pump or AC compressor mounted there. It also makes changing the #1 plug easier and it's just a bit "different" the way us Slanters like it.

The OEM paint color match on the label is Chrysler B32
The paint used was PPG Deltron 2000 DBC4192 Light Spectrum Metallic

Sorry, I'm not sure on the year but I think it was late 80's to early 90's. I'll bet a paint store could cross reference it for you and come up with models and years.

I set out to sell my car this Spring but haven't yet. You know, I could use the space in the garage but I don't really care if I don't sell her.

It's a beautiful thing! Why would you want to get rid off her?

Too many cars and bikes and too little space. :( I suppose I could move and find a place with a four car garage!
