My 69 dart has a 225 in it. I was looking at the numbers on the front pad and they are very “short”. The 10000 day looked like a 1961 date. Then I look at the rear stamping and it matches the vin and is a 69 engine. But the color is turquoise. Original or replaced/restamped

I would say it is original.. No real profit in re-stamping a slant six to match the car.

I was just wondering more of a warranty replacement due to color and front pad stamping weirdness

Color is correct for a '69 225. I don't see any indication this is a non-original engine. The stamping is not on the 10,000-day system; it reads as a regular-fuel 225 engine built at Trenton Engine Plant on 23 January.
