Would anyone know if a four speed off of a 1988 Dodge Ramcharger would fit onto a 73-74 slant 6? I have the old 3 speed auto with bell housing if that helps at all. Paul |

The 1988 Ramcharger is a V8 so the bellhousing won't bolt to the slant six. The transmission itself may or may not be useful. If you're after the A833OD you can ID it by the shifter being externally mounted on the left side of the gearbox. Also, the A904 automatic has an integral, non removable bellhousing so it's of no help. |

Get a pic. I have never seen the od in the 81-93 'chargers or traildusters. The ones i have seen were the big np four speeds. But I am no expert on all things ramcharger. I only have 1. Greg |

Thanks again for the info Josh, And rats to the auto bell housing being non-removable. I haven't been able to tell due to the grease. The yard that vehicle is in is too far for me to go if I am not certain. Will keep looking. Paul |
