I was just perusing some past posts and was wondering what ever happened to the slant powered rail that was being built. It certainly was an interesting project.

There were a few rails under construction at one time, maybe 4? The only one that has made it to a track is the RED of Fopar in Oregon. Super vehicle built by a great guy. CJ Stoakes has a rail he is working on, IIRC a FED, and I expect we will see it run at some point.

Oh, thanks for that, Stan. Charles Myers of course had a RED back in the late 90s that went in the 9s. Everyone gave him guff that he was competing against door cars with a rail, so he switched to the ProStock type Arrow...

I think you are taking about CJs dragster which has been under construction for years. I know he has a lot of nice parts for it, might even be planning to run nitro. Ask CJ how it is coming.
