| Post subject: | Replacement Fuel Pump - PSI & GPH specs [list] |
In looking for specs for replacement fuel pumps, I had reached out to Summit, who kindly responded to all my silly questions. Some results surprised me, so I thought I would share - it's the least I can do to a community who has been so gracious and helpful to me. The min-max PSI are not specified, and the volume is not a range either, but I've asked for this intel before and didn't receive a response. So, I reduced the variables in hopes of getting a response - which coincidence or not - resulted in this info. I wish it was more detailed, but I think it narrows the selections down somewhat (I know I picked the wrong pump a few years ago). These are all listed as standard replacement pumps, which clearly, some are better (and worse) than others. That said, if anyone knows the baseline - MOPAR values - of a true stock pump, kindly share as a comparison. Brand - Model - PSI - GPH/FF Airtex - 60322 - 5.50 - 30 Airtex - 60576 - 5.00 - 27 Airtex - 60577 - 5.00 - 27 GMB - 520-8080 - 2.00 - 20 GMB - 520-8240 - 5.50 - 30 Carter - M60322 - 5.50 - 30 Carter - M60577 - 5.00 - 26 Delphi - MF0018-11B1 - 5.00 - 13 Delphi - MF0124-11B1 - 4.00 - 30 Spectra - SP1051MP - 5.50 - 30 Spectra - SP1122MP - 5.50 - 30 Spectra - SP1256MP - 5.50 - 30 If I missed any, and you know the specs, please let me know and I'll add it to the list. Props to Summit Racing for doing the hard work here. Cheers to all, -Chris |

Last few I have bought were spectra premium's all the part #'s on those look pretty consistent. I bet the part #s are different for different inlet / outlet orientations.. PS.... what is FF in the chart? Greg |

Greg, you are correct, different configurations have different #s. Good call. Spectra pumps are indeed looking like a smart buy... I should have noted that FF is for "free flow," my apologies for the vagueness. |
