What's a good kind of paint to use for stuff like manifolds and thermostat housings?

I've now got a red thermostat housing (thanks again Rob :D ) and chipped up blue valve cover, head, intake manifold, and so on :P

I've got some Rustoleum, would that be able to hack it?

Thermostat housing, intake, valve cover, etc won't get extremely hot, so I wouldnt worry too much about paint, any ordinary spraypaint should hack it. I personally like Duplicolor brand, says right on the can made to take up to 500deg (they have a 1200deg version as well but they recomend baking)

Exhaust manifold or headers, on the other hand, is a different story. I hear POR15 is good, but for longetivity I'd get them ceramic coated.

Just whatever you do, when putting it on bare metal, make sure the pores are nice and clean. Blasted preferably, with aluminum oxide.
