I finally bought my super six set up and it is nasty looking,what should i do besides cleaning nd repaint it ? should i have it bead blasted? help help!!

You can take a grinder to it and smooth-off all the rough casting marks. Some gasket match porting work also helps. Getting the port face surfaced is a nice thing to have done. Clean it, paint it, install it, there is not much else to do. DD http://www.slantsix.org/articles/manifo ... unting.htm
