I spent the day scrounging for 78-80 heads and came up empty. Found an 83 in a van, but it has hydraulic set-up. Can I just swap my rocker assembly onto this head and use my solid rockers/pushrods (I already searched this topic and noted a recommendation to use a smaller bolt from the 83 head) just need verification that this will work. I actually plan to use the 78 aspirator improve emissions. Thanks in advance. Paul |

Yes you can. Remember to grab the valve cover for the '83 as it is different from the '78 I believe. |
