hey all, well i'm sick of trying to mess with a kickdown, i wanna go full manual in my A-904. I'm just stumped on which one to get.. i really dont wanna dish out 100bux for the Trans-go kit becuase i'm not changing the trans + TC untill next spring now and i need a kit for a lock-up trans. anyways will any of these do what i want in a 1080 lock-up A-904?? http://store.summitracing.com/partdetai ... TFOD%2D518 http://store.summitracing.com/partdetai ... MM%2D10232 if i'm going in the wrong direction on these kits and if its not too much trouble can you provide a part number + manufacturer of a kit that will turn my lock-up A-904 into a "manu-matic"? thanks! i found this kit on B&M's website and think it may work, heres the part no. BMM10219 its a "manual-pak" kit, this in my 80 A-904 right? Summit wants 96bux for this kit which is great if it'll work in any 727/904 like they claim... thanks!!!!! Justin |

Well i installed this kit into my 904. Of course i do not have a lockup but the instructions in the kit show you how to identify which trans and how to set it up. i would suggest doing this only in a trans you will be using for a long time since you do have to do some modifications to the valve body. Overall it took me 3 hours to modify tranny. |

Hey Justin, I would have ordered it elsewhere. Valve body is modified by putting on templates and drilling a hole. Of course new valves and moving bearings on the inside. You will need the retorque the bands. Remove one spring from piston. I believe that is it but I can't remember its been over a year. |

hey Moose, thanks, i know its expensive but i hate kickdown linkages with a passion (i've never used or tinkered with an auto before) and Summit wanted 96bux with a 4week wait, if i converted it to cdn dollars and paid shipping plus customs fee's then it would have came out to around the same... cant wait for it to arrive |
