Hi, new to the Forum . I’m having some issues finding a A/C compressor that comes with a Clutch . I can order a Compressor all day long yet none come with - (without repeating my self ) a bloody clutch . I’ve kind of exhausted all my options . it’s a van also tried to mod the 318 Unit due to the clearance and bracket issues didn’t work . I’d happily get the clutch rebuilt if there is someone I can send it to ? Thanks again in advance for any info ! Regards Damien |

Unless I'm missing something for Aussie and NZ market vehicles, the clutch is usually a separately serviced component. Are you saying your parts suppliers in NZ don't have listings for an A/C clutch separately? Roger |

Need more info. What year/model vehicle? Mopar used several different compressors over the years. They each had their own clutch. Sorry, didn't read the header, just the message body. |

Rock Auto list that compressor with clutch. C171 style. |

If you have the c-171 compressor.. we are not sure of what compressor you have yet... You can use a clutch like this.. https://www.rockauto.com/en/parts/four+ ... lutch,6572 If the new pulley does not align properly.. maybe you have a single groove pulley... then reuse your old single groove pulley. wouldnt 78 still be RV2 compressor? My 78 Fury (also 318 like the OP's van) has the RV2 |

78 should have a v2 or rv2 some 79's have them and by 1980 most to all were 171 or sanden. Greg |
