I am flattered to be nominated, but I would rather hold off until I'm retired. I ain't quite done yet.

Hello All, If you have any folks that you would like the HoF Comitee to consider to induct into the Slant Six Racing Hall of fame please share them here. Inductees to the Slant Six Racing Hall of Fame will be selected on an annual basis by the Hall of Fame Committee from nominations made by members of the Slant Six Racing community. Once an individual is nominated, he/she is eligible for induction and does not have to be nominated again to be considered for induction. Induction of these members will be held annually at the Slant Six Banquet. Two to four new members will be inducted into the Slant Six Racing Hall of Fame annually. The Hall of Fame Committee will consist of the Hall of Fame Chairman plus 6 members appointed by the Hall of Fame Chairman. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS The nominee: 1. Shall have made or had a large impact on the Slant Six Racing Series. 2. Can be retired from racing, deceased, or an active racer in the Slant Six Racing Series. 3. Could have made significant accomplishment's within the sport, or be a promoter or a large contributor to the sport. 4. Could be a team (for example, husband and wife, or father and son) instead of an individual person. 5. Any member of the Hall of Fame Committee will be eligible for induction while serving on the committee. Any member of the Hall of Fame Committee who is a candidate for recognition shall be excluded from the voting process. This charter may be amended with majority affirmative of the Hall of Fame Committee. Greg, thanks for getting this information out in the open for the world to see. This should have been done years ago. I can't believe Gary Bruner is not in the HOF. He has been racing slant 6's for almost 50 years. He held records in IHRA. Okay, rant over. Mark |
