Are these pistons of any use in our slant 6 engines? Looks like they would drastically lower CR. Slants 1.74" vs Cadillacs 1.63" compression heights, not to mention the Caddys dish. |

The 3.465 bore size works but the 1.63 compression height (+ dish) and the .865 piston pin size are not a good match. DD |

You could make these work with a 198 rod and/or with lots of block/head milling, but otherwise Doug is right. Lou |

Yah in a pinch but not worth it..... I saw some for sale cheap and saw the bore size and wondered how close of a direct replacement....thanks
