On the radiator, there is a bump/barb on the tube where the lower hose connects. Is the bump/barb a retainer, which the hose go beyond? Or is it a stop, which the end of the hose should not pass?

Without seeing the radiator I am not sure.. but I can say that I always put the radiator hose on all the way to the tank, and the hose clamp goes between the end of the hose and that barb that is now covered up. |
