Minor oil leak after rebuild, front of engine

Post subject:  Minor oil leak after rebuild, front of engine
So after an idle tuning session on the rebuilt 225, where the engine was running about 15 minutes with the car in one place, I noticed an oil spot on the carport floor. Not oil spraying out, but more than I'd care to ignore. Seems to be coming from somewhere on the front of the engine, possibly the timing cover to oil pan connection.

What areas are likely suspects for leaks? And what are the odds I can fix this without pulling the oil pan?

I did get a picture of how I installed the crank oil slinger.

Further checking - it may be the oil pump relief valve, with the oil running onto the k-member and dripping forward. Will change the gasket there and see if it helps.

I have a go-to way of locating the source of any leak.
Clean the suspect area thoroughly with engine de-greaser and water and let it completely dry.
Get a can of spray foot powder and give the whole suspected area a light coating of powder.
Run the engine and closely inspect the suspected leak area. Even the slightest leak will show up as darkening of the foot powder.
Don't let it run too long or leak too much or the dark area could spread so far that the source will be hard to pinpoint. If that happens, clean it all up and start over.
The foot powder will easily wash off with water when you are done.

Thanks! I'll try that if the oil pump fix doesn't stop the leaks.

Update: the oil pump may have fixed some of the leaking, but not all. Will try the foot powder trick soon.
