| Post subject: | New replacement carburetor |
Just as the title suggest, what are a guys options for a new (not rebuilt) carburetor for a ‘65 slant motor. I’d like to go new and get two for the 2 one barrel Offy manifold I have and would like to use. I don’t want to bother with rebuilding what I have, would like to just bolt on and go. What are my options? |

I would look at Mike's Carb Parts and see what he has to offer, and he will help you out as much as he can If you run into problems. Being that it is a non stock manifold, you will be on your own to some extent on tuning... AND being that it is a carb from China, (new single bbl) you are kinda on your own as how they set those carbs up, and how the factory set up the original carb is likely worlds apart. I am sure it can be done, but it may take some fussing, or it may run fine right out of the box.. More importantly Keep the old carb... |
