Hey guys, new here with a few questions, I have searched this forum and have been unsuccessful at finding what I want so please bear with me. can anyone tell me the cam profile the 225 came with? Is there a preferred place to find "light" pistons, 30 over?? On a scale of one to ten, how hard is it going to be to find a 2bbl manifold? can the Clifford or Offenhauser intake be used with stock exhaust manifold, or will headers be needed?

It will help us to better answer if we know your intended use for the engine? Street, Street strip, race...etc. The Offy manifold can be used with the stock exhaust manifold. The Clifford does not bolt up to it. Aftermarket pistons are not needed unless this is a serious race engine. If you want light pistons many of us run the Wiesco piston with Molnar 7" rods. This gives a nice long rod and light piston , but a near zero deck, so the compression can be pretty high. Not sure Wiesco's are readily available any more, so you may need custom pistons. $$$

The stock cam is around .380-.400 lift and @ 244 advertise duration.
