Sadly, I don't think I'll be able to make it. After a good day Saturday, I had a horrible day, today. Mowing the yard, I got the zero-turn mower a little too close to the lake, and got it stuck in the soft ground. Shut it off, and got off, intending to get a chain, and vehicle to tow it out. Saw a little smoke from underneath, looked to see from what, and saw a small flame. The hot exhaust set the tall dead vegetation on fire. Fast walked up to the house while dialing 911, to get the hose. Broke the hinge on the flip phone, and had to go into the house to call. By the time the fire dept arrived (they did not take long), had a nice little brush fire going. They got the fire out with no major issues, except my mower (which ran good when parked
) is totaled. The emt's recommended I go to the ER as I was having some medical issues from exertion. I got checked out, and am OK. But I'm going to have to get another mower and that will take most of my "play" money.
