Does anyone make a stall converter to fit the slant bell-housing? If so let me know or what alternatives do we have for a more radical cam. Let me know. Thanks, Jared |

Just call a converter manufacturer and tell them what you want to do. They will take care of you. I personally use Midwest in Rockford, IL. 815/229-9808, but there are many good ones out there. |

I take it this means a convertor won't swap between a small block 904/flexplate to a SL6 904/flexplate? I was just about to post asking that, but decided to scroll through first and see if anyone else had said anything relevant to topic. |

Yes, you can use a smallblock TC on a Slant flexplate and vice versa. Just make sure the register pin is right for your year motor (crank hub hole). '68-up Slants had same size as SBs, but earlier ones had a smaller pin. Also, 360 externally balanced engines may have weights on the TC and should probably not be used with an internally balanced Slant (all were). Lou |
