Just got a shifter boot for my 84 D-100 with the A833OD trans. Nothing is listed for the truck application, but the boot is the same as the listing for a 1966-1976 "A" body with the A833OD trans. It fits the truck perfectly. Hopefully this helps someone else. Available from Summit as #OER-MA760 |

Also the Same as 1976-1980 F Bodies. Good Stuff Charrlie! Only works for trucks with the OD / side slinger A833 Transmission not for use in trucks with a "truck trans" such as the center shifted NP 435 or NV 4500. Might also work in some vans too! Greg |

Correct. Has a round hole for the shifter, not a slot for a flat shifter.
