It seems that there is something amiss under the hood on the forum. Lots of php code appearing and lost pictures that are not hosted on this site. Greg |

I think it is mostly working OK now. There still seems to be issues with the searching and my display size seems to change randomly. It looks to me like the host for our web site upgraded some code and broke the system. I will probably have to upgrade the forum software (which I hate doing because it takes so long). |

No, I'm afraid not; it is mostly not working. Page display/format is all jumbled up, bunch of code strewn up at the top, can't add pics to posts, can't edit posts, can't quote in a reply, trying to post a comment sometimes returns me to an empty post-a-reply window (hey, where'd my text go?), etc. |

Yes I would agree. Time to change that points and condenser, adjust the valves and reset the curb Idle. |

From a post over at FABO by that site owner. "I've offered several times to buy the site and modernize it, but he isn't interested. It looks like his software is incompatible with the server software he's using and there might be some database issues." |

I love our site and how it is run. I'd rather us all pitch in some $$ and help Chuck get what he needs. Whether that be new software, or paid help to get it running. No telling where we may end up if things are sold. Just my opinion. |

Does anyone really want me to sell the site? Do you want to see ads all over the place? I think not! The software is free, but it is a bit of a task to get it upgraded. I tried and it didn't work out. If any of you know someone who can help with the upgrade (PHP, phpbb) please have them reach out. If I can't find a member who can help I'll hire someone else to do the upgrade. |

I don't want the site sold. I just posted that so everyone could see what was posted on FABO. Mostly What Joey said about what the problem might be. |

He's right about the problem. Fixing it is another issue. I don't specifically remember him offering to buy the site but I have seen offers over the years, which is why I commented on it. |
