I just installed a newly rebuilt \6 with the long runner 2 bbl intake and a new 2300 Holley in my '87 D100. The throttle linkage on the carb is up against the end of the master cylinder. Has anyone out there had this same problem, and if so, how did you solve it?

I have no experience with that combination but, can you rotate the carburetor 90 degrees and gain clearance? Is it cable operated? Just thinking out loud.

i had the long runner 4bbl on my 66 valiant without issues. I did switch to cable throttle linkage on mine.

Is your drivers side motor mount in good shape? A list to starboard might be the culprit. I assume it has power brakes, maybe switch to a thinner style of booster.

Post a picture. Having a hard time seeing how that should be hitting?
