Anyone interested in going to Mason Dixon to race on June 28th? They have their Rockin Chair Nationals that weekend. It is kind of a oldies/Nostalgia event and is usually well attended. I think I am going. Let me know!

I believe I can make it there. Watching, not racing, BUT...the Belvedere is almost on 4 wheels again. Progress.

Thanks for asking, Rick. Hope you have a great time. We'll be getting back on the 28th from a family trip, so nope for me. I had ball with y'all in May!

See ya at Carlisle!

I am still planning to go Saturday. I am going to run the car exactly like I did last month except for changing the valve setting back to .024 or .026 instead of the .032 I ran last time. I ran about .15 slower than I normally do, so I want to test it. I'll leave the 4.56 gears in the car. Of course the weather is always different too, so we shall see. :D :D

Looks like 80-85 degrees outside for Saturday, which is not far off from when I ran it last time. :D :D

It is 93 Here today, and was 100 in Columbus, Ohio on Monday afternoon.

Have a good run!

Sorry I cannot come down, Ruster is still out of commission until I can dedicate some time to work on it.

Yeah it was About 93 here too. I kind of draw a line at 90 degrees. If it is over that and it is just me going to have fun, 90 is about my limit. If it is a Slant 6 race that is a different story.

I got to thinking about the last time I was down there racing. I bet I had some money at the tower because I got down to 3 cars. I didn't even think about it. It may be too late! :D :D

I won't be going this time Rick. - Sorry, it sounds like it will be a fun Saturday with some cool cars... I just thought about you getting 3rd the other day! I had assumed you got something for that but I didn't ever ask. I wonder how long they would keep it for you if you didn't come pick it up? Haha!

It was a decent day. There was a good turnout with a lot of cool old cars. I got to meet our friend on here that has the little T bucket. He went a couple rounds in his class I think. My car ran fine! 8.20 in the 1/8, which is about normal for 90 degrees and 70% humidity. I won my first rd. and while in the Tahoe cooling down I somehow missed the call for my class! :? Not even sure how I did it. But I just chalked it up for finding another way to lose. :D :D I loaded up and was just heading out and it down poured. So they probably didn't get to finish anyway. I got home and ate a bowl of ice cream and life was all good again!

That's so Rick!

Well at least you got to meet another slanter and get some ice cream. Now all you need is a nickel swap meet and a peach milkshake and you will be set!

Swap meet will be next Friday! And the peach milkshake will happen tonight! :D :D Yes, I think the man with the T bucket was named Gene?
