So I think my hydraulic slant might have starved for oil on the top end and chewed up my rockers and the tips of the valves. I bought 11 old stock Perfect Circle ones on Ebay, still in the boxes. But they have what appears to be a manufacturing defect, the oil passages out to the ends of the rocker tip are poorly formed or crushed. Some of them are completely blocked, and some of them have a very restricted oil passage.. Its not a big deal, the seller has offered to refund any that are unusable.. I was just wondering if anyone on here has run into these before? Perfect Circle used to be good stuff, but I guess anyone can have a bad run of parts.. https://photos.app.goo.gl/sgb32nC2ugehVytg7 |

a while back, maybe 2013 I had purchased a set of NOS Mopar hydraulic slant six rockers from Mancini Racing. After about 100 miles one of the rockers failed, completely separated at the weld joint. Looking at it I could see there was minimal weld penetration at the spot welds. IIRC the Mopar boxes had a manufacturing date of 1998,, I found it humorous that defective part sat on a shelf for fifteen years waiting for me to buy and install it. |

Its hard to see in the pictures, looks like the passage going to the tip is smashed. I just had a set of solid rockers with the valve passages completely blocked with crud. Could not clean them. |

Oddly enough, when most of these Perfect Circle ones turned out to be defective, I ordered 5 NOS Mopar ones on Ebay.. And one of those 5 is defective like that, on the valve end the two halves aren't fully welded together, leaving a split in the middle of the wear surface. The seller is sending me another one..After about 100 miles one of the rockers failed, completely separated at the weld joint.
