I resently bought a volare body. I also bought a 225 cid. with a 2 barrel carb. and it has a aluminum intake. The car is a 79' model. The vin number has a fifth letter of "D"which in my repair manual it says the car came with a super six. I know that it is a super six, but the engine has no I.D. numbers on it or the trans. I thought all engines and trans. had numbers.

On later blocks the ID number can be stamped on the side of the block rail towards the back, take a look there.
