I want to know the difference between the hyper pak and the super six setups?? And also, I want to buy a 833-o/d trans and a 225 six. Do I just keep searching e-bay and letting people sniper bid me at the last second, or is there another resource.?? I have been looking in the local pennysaver and e-bay. I would look in the local wrecking yards, but I really don't know what I'm looking for. I bought my Dart as a money making opportunity,(i got it for cheap) and now were hooked. I want to make it my daily driver. This is why I have so many questions. Thanks again-Josh |

The Hyper Pak came on early MOPAR Slant Six engines and were built to run at Daytona, they did and blew all the other brands away. It had a four barrel intake with special runners and a Carter four barell carb. These are rare pieces now and are expensive to purchace. The Super Six set up came out in the mid seventys and had a two barrel intake and carb. These are not so hard to find. But there is not a big performace gain by going to a super six setup than a stock setup. Find an Alluminum one barell intake and put the one Barell Holley that came with the six and it will work fine on a stock engine. I have tried all setups in the last six years and will try to help you Thanks Possum Parker. gone bagel bagging back in 12.60 seconds |

I found one via the local paper (thrifty ad section) I found another by a visit to the local WPC (walter p Chrysler) chapter. The auto wrecking yards are another source. I have a rebuildable block and head if you want them. They were running but need the head surfaced and block decked since the head gasket let loose after a few thousand miles - The price is right though - just come pick it up (if you are going to dump your 170 or 198 you could leave it in trade I have not tried finding any transmissions yet - but would assume the same places would work. |
