I dropped the fuel tank under my truck so I can replace the sending unit. It was painfully slow going because not much room to work my socket wrench on those straps. But I got it off.

Now I'm dirty as hell.

On my 66 I just cut the strap off, as it was as rusted as the tank. There cheap and should be replaced at the same time. Now go clean up...Dave
