Post subject:  225 Clutch Disk

I have a stock Feather Duster - has a a833OD. I can not seem to find a clutch disk for it anywhere. The closest one I found was for a trail duster. Would a disk for a V8 application work? All I know is that it has 23 splines, but I have the old clutch disk and pressure plate that I can measure if someone tells me how.

I got one this summer 9 1/4" disk from NAPA, they had it delivered from their warehouse in Portland and came in that afternoon. Many places won't have one over the counter, you'll have to order it.

www.partsamerica.com = Schucks/Kragens shows several remanf. discs some in stock and some 24 hours shipped.

Don't forget to check your flywheel for cracks, pitting and 'trenches' from the rivets.

Here is some additional info on Slant Six Clutches.
You may want to look at the HD Truck, Van and Taxi 10 inch set-up, that will bolt onto your current flywheel.

Feelin your pain my brotha. If you've got the 9 1/8 or 9 1/4" clutch then the stock pickins are pretty slim. Take a peek at clutchnet.com for some of the more high performance and exotic stuff--they've got kevlar and sintered copper linings, etc. for decent prices. If you're looking for something a little less exotic but just as effective, you can run an 95~97 3.0L F*rd Ranger disk, these are 9 1/8" dia. units so it's a direct replacement.

Good luck!
