Am I right in thinking that the truck Slant 6 is the one with the sump the furthest toward the back? Other than sump location, all oil pans are interchangeable among the Slant 6 family aren't they? The pickup tube would have to be the right one to match, but what about the dipstick? Are there any good sources for aftermarket pans for the Slant 6? Thanks! Rob |

The pans and sticks are different for vehicles independent of the block. Try mother mopar for parts first, they fit and take the guess work out of the equation. |

the sump IS different for different applications as well as the dipstick. Try your dealer for parts first! |

Rob; You're correct as far as you went. Vans (with slant) also use the rear sump pan. If I'm not mistaken, all others were a mid-sump configuration. As Damxwiz said, though, the pan is dependent on the vehicle it's mounted in. Roger |
