do u have to move or take the a/c compressor off to change out the water pump? i gave it hell, but i was able to jerk the old pump off, but im sure it shouldnt be this much trouble to put it back in -robert-

Yes it helps a lot to remove the other braces that connect the AC pump to the engine. I forget now if there are two or three going from the back of the pump to the engine. Look and you will see. If you remove the bolts on the engine end or which ever is more convenient then you can just lift the whole AC pump up enough to R and R the water pump.
