I was reading an old post and they mentioned that there are 2 different weght blocks. They used letter codes something like RGFC aand RGCC. Is there a way to ID theses blocks by looking at them? Are there strength issues wth either? |

i think they where talking about the aluminum block. if you look in articles you will find the aluminum block article by doug dutra |

I would guess the RGFC is the RG block (225 and 198) with a Forged Crank and the RGCC would be the RG Block with a cast Crank. More details on blocks can be found in the Articles "Playing with Blocks" http://slantsix.org/articles/dutra-bloc ... blocks.htm |
