Mine seems to be drawing an excessive amount of current, probably a good canidate to be controled via relay directly from battery. When on the low setting, a 0.25-0.5v drop occurs at the fuse box. When on high, 0.5-1v drop at the fuse box. Both of these are on the switched power feed in the fuse box. Does this happen to everybody, or do I have a flaky connection somewhere? For all of you with a voltmeter installed or a hand tester I'd appreciate if you could do a little experimenting and let me know what you find interms of voltage drop with the blower motor on. |

Pierre, i've got the same thing in this boat. While i haven't put the handtester on it, i can tell you that with the blower motor running full tilt the car is not happy. I say pop for the relays... -JYH 64 Dart, i don't even have a radio-- why expect a heater?!!? 69 Cuda, the Q-Ship, PS & AC!! SoCal baby, SoCal |
